Hi
I am running a G4 Powerpc with Osx 10.4.7 and version 7 itunes.
I am trying to bring the itunes upto date to the best version to enable connecting an iphone.
When I check for updates I get the message "the itunes update server could not be contacted. please check your internet connection, or try again later."
The internet is connected and working fine, any suggestions please, I would be very happy, thank you

Unfortunately, you need version 10.5 leopard of OS X

Syncing with iTunes on a Mac or PC requires:
Mac: OS X v10.5.8 or later
PC: Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
iTunes 10.5 or later (free download from Apple - iTunes - Download iTunes Now)
