New iPod Touch not synching

Your Mac's Specs
13" MBP - 2.7 Ghz, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM.
I just got a new iPod Touch 3G and it's not synching my music. I tested it with 4 albums in iTunes (updated to latest version with latest iPod software). It didn't automatically synch the checked songs, which it should've done, so I hit the Synch button - still no luck. Am I missing something here? This is the first time I've used a Touch, but I've had the Classic and multiple 3G/4G iPod models. Thanks.

Fixed: I had it set it to manually manage :)
