Hi, I own a 2010 Macbook with iOS X 10.6.8 and the mouse has been acting up as of late. When I boot up my Mac it jumps around and when I log on and try and click something it either double clicks, doesn't follow the direction I need it to, or just does whatever it want to. I started this about a a year ago but was never this bad nor this constant. I don't know what's causing this, can anyone help?

Hi and welcome to the forum MacFan . . . .

It seriously sounds as if the batteries where flat on the mouse ?? Checked them lately (thats if it is a wireless mouse). It might sound like a no brainer of a question, but you will be surprised as to how easy it is to overlook and how many people give themselves the forehead slap :)
