My situation is that I need to get a variety of files to my brother in another state and he only has a Mac Air (so no DVDs), and he also refuses to let me send him a large capacity thumb drive. Being new to Mac, I found something about DropBox online and how (is this correct?) you can put files into your own DropBox and another computer (one that's not your own?) would be able to access them?

Stupid question, I'm sure, but I already have a DropBox folder and I don't know where it came from. I was about to download the program from CNet, but thought maybe I already have the program somewhere on my fancy new iMac, since the folder already exists in "Public?" I checked Utilities. Does iMac have a built in program of the same name or a program similar to it that would help me do what I need to do?

Brothers. I tell ya.
