my late 2008 white macbook logic board died and I am trying to decide on which macbookpro to get, I am planning on getting a 13 inch but should i cough up the extra dough for the 2.8GHz or go for the 2.4 GHz. Also are there any upgrades that anyone could recommend? Lastly can I take the old RAM from my macbook and install it onto my new macbookpro?

The old computer rule of thumb can always be applied..."Buy as much computer as you can afford!";)

Hard drive and ram are the only upgrades...and can always be done later if money is tight now.

Nope...can't do it.:(

p.s. Here's a fairly new refurbished 13" MacBook Pro that's a pretty good deal:

...probably better than the current 2.4ghz 13" MBP...for a slightly lower price.:)
