iPhone 4s: No New Mail Visual Notification?

Hi Guys -

I've got 4 mail accounts. Each of them works just fine. However, on one of them, when new mail comes in I get a sound notification but no visual notification (like a number: 1, 2, etc.) on either the mail icon OR the email address (inside).

I'd appreciate any ideas on what to do.

Are they all setup the same way? IMAP or POP? Have you setup your notifications to allow for badges which is what the number above the icon is. You should, however, get the email count on the email address in the application for any messages that are in the inbox, if you filter messages into sub-folders then the count won't get updated until we go into those sub-folders..

I went into Mail Notifications and Badges was not on. Once I turned it on, all is well!
