• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

i sorry for the cap locks but really need help and in a big rush!

I am creating a movie for this evening! :S and desperately need help!

all the movie clips I am using are either mpeg, wmv, avi and one is mov.

the only one which will play properly with sound is the .mov clip.

now ive tried exporting all other clips to .dv (stream) but once its exported and i drag them into imovie there is no sound! i have tried so many things but nothing is working, someone please give me details on how to clear this up as ive been up till 5 in the morning trying to sort it! :S

Thanks!!

the only thing i can think of is to download a program that will convert the files to a different format (avi or mov) and convert the files.
