iPhone 3G Ex-jailbroken

Hey guys, I jail broke my iphone ages ago and when it was jailbroken i changed the carrier name and made it show the battery pacentage. And they were the only things that stayed there after i restored it. Now i would LOVE to have the normal carrier name. but id like to keep the battery pacentage.

Delete the restore file from the itunes folder on your computer and then redownloaded it through itunes. If you run ios 4 you should have the battery percentage.

Thanks, know anyways to transfer contacts easy?

I cant run ios4, its a snail on my phone.

You can copy your contacts to either mobishield it has a contact back up or atomic contacts. you also might have them on your computer as well.

Okay so i rejailbroke it how would i get it back to normal?

Vodafone but atm its vodafail. and i want it to say what ever the sim card it
