The UI on Final Cut Pro is pretty easy to use.

I have just started to use it for work to produce some promo material.
I have only been using it for 3 days and already have some pretty good stuff down.

My advice (for what it's worth!) is to open up the PDF manual in the help menu and print sections of it off (say 1 chapter at a time) and then follow the directions in there.

You could print it off in it's entirety but be warned it's over 1600 pages long.

There are also a plethora of good books out there on Final Cut Pro which are reasonably priced.

Hope this helps
Paul

Hey man I appreciate that...I never thought about looking for books. I have to buy final cut pro 5, because I just found out that 4.5 doesn't work on the new macs
