This morning prior to coming into my office (which forbids bringing in any phones), I checked my mail accounts, then went into the message window. I saw a list of folks that had recently sent me messages, but when I depressed the button at the bottom to go back to HOME, a screen came up with something like "Voice Interaction". Scared of screwing things up I pressed the cancel button and quickly got out of the message screen.

Now I'm wondering what I'm missing?

Does the latest OS on a 3G support voice inputs for text messaging?

Thanks

Pressing and holding the home button on your iPhone will bring up the voice input interface.

If you have an iPhone 4s this is how you access SIRI, on non-4s iPhones this gives you access to voice controlled dialling, music playback etc.

Have a look at P29 onwards for more info
