Long time reader, first time poster.
My 2.16 GHz 15" Macbook Pro running 10.6.8 is connected to my Vizio VO22L via an RGB cable, but the TV is only showing me resolution options up to 1056x594. I'm trying to get it up to the 1680x1050 (or somewhere thereabouts) as it says I can do in the specs with RGB. This has been a problem I've been having for a while now, and one even my roommate who worked at Apple could not help me figure out.
As a sidenote, I've installed SwitchResX and have fiddled with some of the settings but am proving to be a complete idiot when it comes to using the software. I may be complicating it too much?
