logic 9 1.1 all disks

my mate gave me his full version of Logic pro9 1.1, before he went traveling, he thought he had left serial number with it, but he did not and now he has no idea where it is or when he will be back, what can i do as i have no proof of purchase, hope this is right forum, if not can someone guide me where to go

Right forum.

What you can do is buy your own copy of Logic. Without the original serial number (I'm going to assume he gave it to you permanently and you're not just trying to "borrow/steal" it since that's forbidden here), what you've got there are some very shiny coasters.

I'm pretty certain the serial is on/in the box the disks come in.

Otherwise, without proof of purchase or the serial, the best you can do is walk into an apple store with the discs and ask. Not likely they will help without proof of purchase however.
