Where is the hash key on my mac keyboard ?

Hi, I have just converted to mac from windoze & its fab, but I'm trying to run work applications which have password containing a HASH symbol.. pls tell me where I can access this as it is not present on my Air keyboard..!

Thanks for the tip but I get a ‹ when I do that.. I have a UK keyboard.. dont know if that makes a difference..?
