Not sure if this is the right place to post (if not admin can move it).. and I've tried to search, but no luck so here goes:

Some of you may have read my earlier posts on Switchers.. I just bought a MacBook from a friend (May 07), he put fresh OS X on it before giving it to me. So today I played around with it...

When I try to open iTunes it says it needs "QuickTime 7.5.5 or later... go to..." I go to the site but there is no option for me to update. I opened QuickTime and clicked on Update but says "No updates available"..

Went to my Software Update and updated everything and still no QuickTime.. I have not upgraded to Snow Leopard yet because the closest Apple Store is almost 2 hours away.. I can't do much with just my OS X?

I've already downloaded the newest of iTunes.. it just wont open because I don't have 7.5.5.. and I am using OS X 10.5.8

Right now I have QuickTime 7.2.1 and can't seem to update it.

Hm wonder why mine will not let me update.. It's usually in the System Updates or under the program "Update Software" isn't it? Any other way to update it?

Way... way too many specs to list.
When Software Update is being mean to me, I bypass it :D
