Hi.

Is it possible to stop the 'popping' sound when you turn the volume up and down?

There is a visual display of the action and that's all I need.

Your Mac's Specs
Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz core 2 duo, 200GB HD,Nvidia 256 DDR3 graphics, 6GB RAM
Go to system preferences --> sound and uncheck the box that says play feedback when volume is changed. And that's that! :)

Thanks very much indeed.

I keep saying it and it's true.
It's like stepping back 20 years, when I got my first PC.
I'm so Window-ised, and I would have found this, dead easy on a PC, but don't know where all the things are on a Mac.

I was going to ask another question: "Where is the equivalent of the Windows Control Panel?"
Well, I suppose the 'System Preferences' is something like that, I guess?!
