I am looking into purchasing a used Mac Pro (Model # A1186) locally and will be running Win 7 with bootcamp for some items that require Windows to run until they come up with a Mac version. This software is used for business, so there is not a substitute, thats why I will be running Windows.... but one piece of hardware is also Windows only. If I install this, what will happen when I run the Mac OS? The hardware in question is a NComputing X550 PCI card.

Thanks, hope I explained that well enough.

Not really well explained.

Never heard of a Mac compatible X550 PCI card, and it must be Mac compatible. Thinlk you would be better served running an ATI Radeon 4870/5870 with Windows 7 Ultimate.

Also Mac Pros are PCI-E and not PCI. PCI was last used in the very early PowerMac G5's. In 2003 or so they charged to PCI-X and in late 2005 G5's went to PCI-E.
