I recently got a Bose SoundLink Mobile Speaker and I use it to connect my bluetooth devices to it wirelessly. The iPhone and iPod work great. But when I connect my MacBook to it, the sound quality reduces, giving it a slightly wheezing sound.
I contacted Bose and apparently the problem is with my MacBook (in fact, I tried pairing a 2nd MacBook and the result was the same!). I tried contacting apple but they apparently won't let me contact them by email bc my macbook is from late 2008 (that's just stupid!).
Does anybody have any ideas as to why the bluetooth pairing with the macbook results in worse-quality sound?
