Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone could help me out here,
a thick black line about 2 inchs has appeared on my monitor
& wont go away :(
is there anyway i can remove this?

That's not much to go on, especially without access to the computer to fiddle with it. Can you supply more information? (about your system, the line, OS, recent software installations...)
