Problem with Bullets in Word for Mac!

Usually when I want to move bullets forward and back, I can use Tab and Delete. For some reason, though, my files have all switched and that no longer works. Now it's Tab and Enter, but when I want to move a bulleted point back to an earlier bullet (farther left) with Enter, it makes it drop down a level rather than moving back left!

How can I fix this so it's back to using Tab and Delete to move bullets?

Try going to Word - Preferences - AutoCorrect - Autoformat as You Type
and in the 'Automatically As you Type' section make sure that you have checked 'Tabs and Backspace set left indent'.
