Restore Macbook Pro without using Disk

I own mid 2009 macbook pro 13''. I have a window installed and many other softwares. Its running dam slow now. Also the worse part is that my CD drive wont work, can not insert any disk in it.

I need to restore my mac to factory setting but without disk.

Please help me out. ......!

The obvious solution is to have the DVD drive repaired.

But to avoid a complete rebuild start by using something like AppCleaner and uninstall any software you don't need anymore. Delete any big old files you might have hanging around you don't want any more. Empty your trash. Clear any stuff of the desktop that doesn't need to be there.

Then open disk utility and run verify/repair disk and repair permissions.

Then install Onyx and run the monthly scripts.
