I think to upgrade my laptop. Currently I have:
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2009)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.26 GHz
Memory: 8 GB
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory
L2 cache 3MB shared
I use a lot of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator + also Logic Pro. My laptop started to be too slow for me. Sometimes it doesn't want to cooperate when I use too much effects and stuff mostly with Logic Pro and After Effects.
I think to upgrade my laptop to:
MacBook Pro (13-inch, Early 2011)
Processor 2.7 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7
Memory 8GB
Intel HD Graphics 3000 with 384MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory
4MB shared L3 cache
Do you think it is worth to do it? Upgrade will cost me $400.
