Video stream lagging !!

Hi !!

I have a 2007. MacBook PRO. 2.4 Core 2 Duo, 5GB Ram.
My internet connection is stable and fine.
This happens on firefox as well as on Safari.

My online video streams are lagging (for example NBA.com). I mentioned this, because it was where I first noticed. I thought that maybe it's on their side.. but then I tried viewing from another computer and everything went well. And it is not the only site lagging.

It is flash-based video. So I reinstalled my flash player- it didn't help.
Also repaired disk permissions.. (not sure was it necessary)

I was using CleanMyMac.. only afterwards I read some negative feedback on this software. That's the only thing that comes in mind when thinking what might've caused all this.

I'm new to Mac.. so I don't have any ideas. This is really disturbing. Video freezes and skips frames like every 3-5 seconds.I am even considering reinstalling OS. Despite that it's been 2 months since I got my MAC and I reinstalled it as it was used.

I really hope that I won't need to format my drive, it would save me hours of backing-up my files.

If you have any ideas on this, please help ! Thanks !!

There is no problem with any youtube videos, what so ever.

Really hope to get some help here, plz...

I'm searching for info .. dunno why is nobody answering here. Have you tried scrolling page down or up a little while video is stuck? Does it play further for you then? For me it does.. it's very strange

Started this post and found the solution myself..

So here's what I did:

STEP 1.Uninstall Flash player

10.6 or later
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player_osx.dmg
10.4 and 10.5
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flash/ts/uninstall_flash_player_osx_10.4.dmg

STEP 2.
Clear ALL Cache on my MAC with Cache Out X
Download: http://www.macupdate.com/download/9538/CacheOutX505.dmg

STEP 3.
Install this exact flash version from archives:
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/installers/archive/fp_10.2.152.26_archive.zip

So yes.. Now I can enjoy NBA highlights and other videos again, however some embed video require to update flash player.. so gotta check through all of these versions here : http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html#main_Archived_versions ... and see the one which still works fine with NBA etc. + views embed stuff.
