Seeing all the problem reports, I am wondering if I made the right decision to get an iMac. 
I have had mine a little over a week. It has lost the signal to the wireless mouse twice. When it does this what do I do to get it back other than turning shutting the Mac down and rebooting?
This morning it would not connect to the internet nor did it recognize the thumb drive or the CD. I had to shut down and boot again.
I tried to get it to connect via "assist me" but nothing. My Windows computer and iPad had no problem. The Mac is about 5-6 feet from the router.
This is my second Apple product. I got the iMac because I thought Apple products were supposed to be almost trouble free.
