Hello. I would like to know if I download updates to apps to my iPhone, shouldn't my Mac laptop also be able to a get the update from my iPhone so I don't have to "download" it from the internet? I am on satellite, and so I am trying to avoid unnecessary downloads if I have already done it on one device. Thanks.

It will update your saved file for the App if you update on your phone, and then sync the phone with your computer. I do believe that it only works if you have your phone set to sync Apps.
