Ubisoft game luncher problem.

not sure if anyone can help, i tried to play settlers 7 this morning but i got the following message:

"An internet connection is required to play this game. Failed to connect to the Ubisoft master servers. Please verify that your internet connection is functional and try again."

i have a full connection otherwise i wouldn't be able to write this! any how i found a few fixes for windows machines but none for mac's

anyone else had this issue and does anyone know of a cure???

I notice this post was months ago, wondering if you found a fix, because I just bought the game and I'm having the exact same problem!
No firewall, over 1mbps download speeds... I've been reading a lot about the DRM issues, but I can't seem to find a mac fix, only windows.
Any help would be great!
