I've been very impressed with SplashTop touch pad app which works well over wifi or 3g, however I'd like to find something with similar functionality but through USB.
Because of repetitive stress injury from clicking my mouse 9 hours each day, I'm looking for a trackpad solution for my desktop. I want to mount it in the bottom center of my keyboard to use as most laptops are configured. I think the iPhone would be perfect for this application. If I can't find a decent app to make use of my iPhone, I'll use the Adesso Easy Cat 2, but I think the iPhone would be better because A) I would only incur the cost of the app and B) the iPhone has a better more sensitive surface.
