Problems with Word and track changes

Dear all, I have problems with Word and use of track changes. My mac goes down and I loose all my changes all the time. Are there any solution? Sincerely Björn

Several things you can try:

Word preferences: Under Save. Place a check in the box that states "Always make a backup". Also set the Auto Recovery for a short interval.

Next go to file locations. Set the location for Auto Recovery and backup to your documents folder so they'll be easy to find when you boot back up from a crash.

You won't be able to recover every change but you should get the majority of them from the backup copy. The Auto Recovery copy may or may not be useable but worth a try anyway.
