MacBook Pro '08 A1260 *8gb RAM + 64bit OS ??

Hi everybody I have been researching weather or not you can successfully install and use 8gb of DDR2 memory in a 2008 MacBook Pro Aluminum Gen 4.1 2.4ghz T8300 (Penryn) core.

I am wondering .. Since OSX 10.7 Lion is 64bit natively .. 8gb should work perfectly!!
But has anybody had any experience using a 2008 macbook pro non-unibody with 8gb ram + Snow Leopard / Lion ??

I think that can only support 6 gig

And don't sweat the 4 gig limit that is an issue for Windows 32 bit. OSX 32 bit uses memory differently so you will be able to utilise over 4 gig even without a 64 bit os
