I am looking at buying one or the other... below are the things i'm thinking

Pro MBP
1: MBP is going to be faster due to the faster processor
2: MBP will have much more HD space
3: MBP has expandable ram
4: Has optical drive (haven't used one in YEARS)

Pro Air
1: MUCH lighter ( i carry my laptop EVERYWHERE)
2: SSD is much more stable and seems to be faster on some tasks
3: Much better screen... (i watch a LOT of movies on my laptop)

As far as i can tell, it's a tossup SO i have to ask... which of these is the better computer

Is the MBP going to be THAT much faster or does the SSD make up for the lower processor speed?

Believe it or not...we've actually had about 2-3 threads asking the same exact question in the past few days. Please try a search & give them a read.:)

Thanks,

anyone else?

Yes,
We have had several of these posts. No one can really decide for you. Best bet is to use the search tool, read the threads and then post if you have specific questions.

If it were me, id go for a MBP.

yes, the MBA is light. But the MBP has everything else. i prefer power over portability.

You got the spec's on both computers...and the Pros & Cons of each. Now you REALLY need to know what YOU need...and your computing habits...then decide.:)
