I have a late 2010 iMac 27 .. with the comp turned off you can see what looks like foggy (cream colour) section about 6" roundish section in the upper right of the monitor.. what is this ..? is it under warranty ..?... the computer is 10 months old and i bought 3 year extended warranty .

You can pull the glass panel off of the iMac and clean the lcd and the back of the glass with a clean microfiber cloth and a CLEANER MEANT for cleaning computer screens. Mine did that as well. The screen is held on by magnets. be careful because it can pinch your fingers. I just made this video showing how i take off the screen. How to remove iMac screen - YouTube
