Apple Macbook Pro 15" 2007 not display not working..I did nothing..Whats wrong?

I had my apple macbook pro 15" 2007 2.4ghz core 2 duo model on one day and when I came home the display just all of sudden stopped working...I did not do anything to it as the display was working before than all of sudden when I turned it on it just stopped working...Can anyone please advise what is wrong and why its not working all of a sudden when I did nothing to it...And what can I do to fix it? Thank you!
