screen dilema... need expert advice

heres the deal... two days ago i had my cracked screen replaced. felt like a new phone. last night i got it wet and ive been fighting with it all day. with enough persistent tinkering i managed to bring the iphone back to life. but the backlight for the screen isnt functioning so its hard to do anything. my goal tonight is to extract the backlight from my sisters broken ipod touch and install it on my iphone 4. any advise?

Well I ain't no expert but my advice is to perhaps buy a new one and keep it away from water..do you really want a Frankenstein ?

You need a) a new phone and b) an Otterbox case and c) a better sense of how expensive that thing you're holding is so you don't abuse it so much!
