I want to create another calendar for my kids homeschooling, and I hit "new calendar" and created the calendar but all my appointments come up on their calendar and I don't want to see mine, only theirs. Is there anyway to do this? I'm sure there must be... .I just can't figure it out...

Maybe, but the only thing I know in that regard is that if you put a copy of iCal into a different User Account, it should show only those events. That is, within your Home(~)/Applications folder, you have your iCal. In another User'2'/Applications folder you have a kids calendar. This would require you to log in and out of those user accounts.

I tried New Calendar and New Calendar Group, but neither of those give you separate calendars in the sense that you desire. They just give you different colors for the Events.

The different Calendars should be listed in the Sidebar on the left. Just untick the ones that you don't want to see.

Ha! That's all there is to it? I was trying to create a new "stand alone" calendar. That doesn't work. I'll have to try that myself. Gotta love a Mac forum. You can learn just by reading other people's questions.
