The batttery life on my MBP has always been terrible. Since day one. It averages about two hours on a full charge. I just bought an "Incase" to help protect it from scratches. And....the battery life has now tripled to 6 hours. Nothing haschanged except for it being in a case... weird?

Yeah that is "weird"! BELIEVE ME...that InCase product you purchased has absolutely nothing to do with battery life!
What does effect battery life is what you do with your computer. If you're watching DVD's, YouTube videos, or gaming...your battery life will be less. Checking e-mail & surfing the internet with the display brightness set at a lower setting (and bluetooth turned off if you don't need it) will extend battery life.
