ipod nano fm recent songs + headphones

i'v just got an iPod nano for christmas and i LOVE it. but i have a few questions. firstly i have used the radio a lot haven't yet got a single song on the recently played list and i'v listened to lots no the radio (radio 1).

secondly i am going shopping tomorrow and i am going to buy some SENNHEISER HD201 headphones and i don't know wether to buy a fiio e5 amp but i don't want is too loud but i don't know wether the sound quality is worth is as i don't have much money (spent it on my laptop).

I can't comment on the headphones but the radio function is entirely separate from the iTunes portion of the iPod so you will not see any "recently played" songs until you actually load songs from iTunes into the iPod.
