Hello,

I'd like to know if it's possible to disable disc partition on Mac OSX to prevent installation of a second operating system?

I know many install a second OS along side their Mac (e.i. linux, Microsoft). My goal is to prevent this. Is this possible? I was thinking of locking BIOS and maybe there's a way to somehow prevent access to disc partition. Would this be enough to accomplish what I'm trying to do??

Thanks

You could use parental controls on any mac that you want to do this on

Just disable access to Disk Utility and Boot Camp Assistant for the accounts

A clever user would be able to get around this but only by reinstalling the OS by booting from an install disk
