Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place or has been done before.

So basically I went to setup my new Macbook Pro and plugged it into my time machine but i didn't have the patience so I unplugged, it has my profile already synced though. So when I am prompted for the password I Put it in the same as my iMac and it says that it is wrong, It gives the hint that it is my date of birth but it says that it is still wrong. Does anyone know how to fix this, any help will be appreciated.

Merry Christmas

The mistake was removing your Time Machine migration before it finished. If you have a lot of data to migrate it may take some time.

Since your new MBP is pre-installed with Lion, boot to the Recovery partition by holding down the option key after you hear the chime. Once in Recovery, just re-install Lion and then start over. If you don't want to use Time Machine to migrate, use the migration assistant instead.
