Just received new 21 inch iMac. Having had a 13 inch Macbook before the screen size takes some getting used to. I am surprised to see a lot of the spinning coloured wheel when I am moving between applications which I thought is a sign of pressure on the processing system. iMac is much faster than Macbook which also featured the spinning wheel, one of the reasons I moved up.
My question is - in iCal calendars displays is there a way to improve the actual day/date printed as the default is very faint and difficult to read. I have managed to increase text size via drop down menu but this does not effect the day and dated display.

Thanks

I don't know the details of the iMac you have or what you may have running at any given instance - but generally speaking - you should not be seeing the spinning ball very often. Post back with your system specs.
