it went slow the the other day, i watched a video saying it would speed up if i changed the dns but i didnt so i reverted back, but then i saw another with involved me changing terminal stuff and since then its been playing up and i have no idea why or how to change the terminal stuff back. it might not be the terminal stuff i did (probably is) my isp is sky, yes sky is crap but cmon! its ridiculously slow now!
internet has gone slow all of a sudden!

which OS X version?
How much hard drive free space?
which terminal commands did you enter? (you may be able to use the terminal's history feature to find what you did - up arrow shows previous command, another up arrow shows before that, etc.)
what else have you changed (maybe just before the problem started)?
