Time Machine just finished a backup of my system. 3 hours later if I replug in my drive, it finds another 15 gigs to backup? I'm confused what changed on my system in 3 hours that it's finding all this new data to write?

Ideas? Should I be worried?

Sounds like TM is trying to back up a Windows virtualization file to me ... do you run any of the popular Windows virtualization programs such as Parallels, VMWare Fusion, VirtualBox etc?

If so, go into TM's prefs and EXCLUDE the virtual machine file from TM backup.

Maybe use Grand Perspective or something like it to see what you have on your machine that is ~15GB of size, that would help narrow down what's going on. Something large is being updated fairly often (like a sparse disk image) and that's being faithfully re-backed-up by TM every time it changes.
