Apple could build new notebooks that are even smaller and lighter than current battery-powered devices by switching to fuel cells for power.

2.8 GHz 15" MacBook Pro OS X 10.7.x & some old Macs
It would be interested if Apple could make this a reality. Battery technology really hasn't kept up with the power demands of modern electronics. It also seems like this would be a small step into getting us off of fossil fuels too which is a good extra benefit.

It will interesting to see how they (the industry in general, not just Apple) tackle the inevitable concerns that agencies like the TSA will have regarding this technology.
