ok i have a file. but it only works if it has a certain name. i dont like the certain name. is there a way i can have its name be something else when shown on the dock?

12" Apple PowerBook G4 (1.5GHz)
Make an alias of the file, and put the alias into the Dock. (Don't delete the actual alias afterward, or the Dock will get confused..)

i guess.. is there any other way...i don't like the arrow having to be there
