• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hello - I have recently upgraded to iDVD 7.0.4. Previously I became fairly proficient with v6.0 but am having some problems with the newer software.

My immediate question - The screen which appears at opening (called the menu screen). I am trying to add audio to that screen so that it plays when I load it into the DVD player and this was quite simple at v6.0, just clicked on a song in iTunes and dragged it into the screen. The instructions for 7.0.4 tell me that also is the way to do it but it does not work. Neither does drag and drop into the bucket. I am wondering if I actually have the correct screen showing.

Help please

Thank you

Yes, it does that sometimes. Click on the "i" button(bottom lefthand corner of the Project window) to open the inspector. Check that the Menu Volume is not set to zero.
