When I clicked on "Get Info" on the Macintosh Hard Drive Icon on my desktop it showed I have 149GB of free space but when I looked on Activity Monitor and Disk Utility it said I have only 110GB of free space. I erased my operating system and did a fresh install of Lion and fro the last couple of days things have looked normal and the two have shown more or less the same free and used space. I have checked today and all or a sudden it is showing 10GB of difference. "Get Info" shows 172GB free, Activity Monitor and Disk Utility shows 164GB free. Can anyone help me understand why this maybe?
