Hello everyone,

Hoping you all might be able to help me out a bit.

A little over a week ago, I noticed that our church's website (created by cloversites.com) was taking a lot longer to load that normal.

These sites I believe are flash based sites.

This morning, it took about 15 minutes to fully load so I could edit it. But it finally did load.

All other sites seem to work. I've viewed other flash sites without any problems. I also can view and stream youtube videos without an issue.

It literally appears to be something surrounding these couple of sites (our main site through the company, and the dashboard to edit the site through the same company).

I'm up to date in Safari, and I believe I'm up to date on my Adobe software.

Anyone have any ideas for me to try? I'm still fairly new to the Mac world, so I may have overlooked something simple.

Thanks a bunch!

Could you post a URL to your Church's site so we could have a look and maybe see what is going on?

LOL...guess that would have been the smart thing to do huh? Sorry.

The website is Light Point Community Church / Home / Welcome

And just an update, I've just downloaded firefox just to try it in a different browser and it still isn't loading.

And here is a kicker....tried it on my iPhone through safari and it doesn't load either and I'm on the same wifi network.

HOWEVER, my windows pc (the one I have to use for work) right next to me gets on the site just fine.

Crazy?

And yet another weird one.

I turned my wifi on my phone off, so it was 3g only, and it accessed the site no problem.

Back to wifi and it took a long time, but did connect on the phone.

Could this somehow be linked to a strange wifi issue?

Interesting. Here it loads right up but after the black screen appears, there is maybe a 2-4 second delay for the rest of it to appear. Otherwise looks and works fine.

Could be something with your router or internet connection.

Site looks nice BTW.

Thanks everyone for checking it out.

Today things seem to be working better. Not sure why.

Still loading slow, but at least it's loading. Guess I'll just chalk it up to a blip on the screen and move on.

Thanks again for you help and checking it out everyone!

That is some seriously funky bad coding, but at least it does work I suppose.

I think for future re-designs, you should hire someone who actually knows coding.
