Hi
I am just learning about this. I have downloaded team viewer on my iPhone but I do not know exactly how this works. Also can I still access my home computer if someone is using it?

Teamviewer is a reverse connection. Everything gets funneled through their servers like a LogMeIn connection.

You install the host portion on the target computer. At this point you are given an ID. You also specify the password.

From the Teamviewer support application you enter the ID and predetermined password.

Since Teamviewer does not rely on OS user credentials you will be directed into a current user session if there is one. Other wise you will be at the login screen if the remote computer is not logged in.

Last I knew the iPhone free version will time out after five minutes. This may have changed, I haven't bothered with it in a while.
