using a hdtv as a secondary monitor for an iam

hi there
i have the new 21.5" imac and i would like too use my hdtv as a secondary monitor. i have found numerous cables on the internet but they are mini display to hdmi and my imac does not have a minidisplay port on the back. any help or suggestions for possible solutions would be greatly appreciated

It has a Thunderbolt port, which uses the same connection as mini-DP and existing cables for mini-DP will work.
