I realize that playing games via Windows 7 Boot Camp is my ideal chance of playing windows games, but I already have VMFusion 4 set up with Windows 7.

How will the performance of some games such as Skyrim be on Windows 7 VMFusion 4?

My mbp specs (early 2011 model):
2.2 GHz quad core i7
4 GB ram
AMD Radeon HD 6750M

3D acceleration is extremely limited in virtualization, period. Doesn't matter whether we're talking about Fusion or Parallels, there is a certain layer of abstraction that adds up to overhead when we're talking about games.

I'm not familiar with Skyrim, but I can tell you that for the most part, you're going to be looking at mostly older games that run well (think 5+ years old) or anything that doesn't require 3D acceleration (games that have simplistic, mostly 2D graphics).
