Regarding your question...no...this hard drive will not fit. It's an SATA drive...your Powerbook needs PATA/IDE.

I bought one but it does have a very small amount of storage. And I just thought I would go ahead and buy one before they are all gone because of the flood in Malaysia.

Isnt that a desktop hard drive because all the ones I have found that are PATA are for a desktop.

Nope...you can have a 2.5" PATA or SATA laptop drive. I have a couple in front of me within arms reach. Laptops used 2.5" IDE/PATA drives before SATA drives were even around.
