Mac Lion keeps crashing Help!

Hello,

I have a 15inch macbook pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB. Ever since I upgrade to Lion my laptop has been crashing, freezing and running slow. Before Lion my computer crashed very seldom now it happens every single time I use it. Safari seems to crash all the time and now the laptop just shuts off randomly and the screen goes black. Below is the crash report from the last time the screen just went black (which happened twice in the last 30 mins). Some please help!

G'day and welcome to the forums.

All sorts of reports of MacBooks acting up after Lion upgrade. Did you by chance burn Lion to a USB thumb drive before installing, as the best solution seems to be formatting the drive and doing a clean install? If not you can access the App Store, hold down Option whilst pressing Purchases, select Lion icon and click and a new download should start f.o.c.

Follow this for burning to a USB thumb drive and the drives seem more easier to handle than a DVD. If you wish to save settings, clone to an external HD, and then proceed.
